Bad Parenting?

"Households with minor children unable to maintain utility services may have their children seized by child protection services because they are unable to provide the necessities of life." (source- http://www.sharethewarmth.org/about.html)

MISSION STATEMENT

Welcome to LegalStreet.org, a justice system upgrade project for Canada!

We here at LegalSreet are concerned with the current and future direction of the criminal legal system within Canada. Although the current judicial system continues to gradually improve by government sponsored/developed efforts, it's clear there are areas within our judicial system which continue to devolve and are seemingly falling apart. The mission here at LegalStreet.org is to discuss these failures, propose new policy measures, and encourage the Canadian public to re-think their current opinion towards crime, criminals, and the rehabilitation methods.
Prominent at LegalStreet.org is our Canadian Prison & Justice Forum. This is the first forum that we Canadians can openly voice our opinion and focus strategies geared towards revolutionizing crime and punishment within our country. I encourage you to partake in discussion and share your personal and/or professional opinion with other Canadians.

This site is dedicated to all Canadians - those free and those incarcerated. The lack of effectiveness our justice system perpetuates daily needs a close analytical look to find solutions to all of its problems. But to maximize this effectiveness, we encourage your involvement in this whole solution creation process.

Enjoy your stay!

Brian McKinlay, Founder and President - LegalStreet.org
